...it POURS.
I'm sure many of you have heard this phrase, and it is definitely the theme song of my life right now. This semester has been so outrageous...in school, family, and personal life. I definitely didn't see it coming. Coming back from winter break, I had a really good feeling about this semester. Looking back, I have no idea why. Haha...it's completely turned out to be the opposite.
I haven't been this tired in a really long time. I laid in bed the majority of today and it felt amazing. It didn't help at all with the huge pile of work I have due this week, but it did help me re-energize a little. Which is always a good thing.
All I have to say is that I'm really, REALLY thankful for my friends, because I probably couldn't make it through all this. So now, I just have to find that inner strength to make it through the last month or so left. God help me, because I know it's gonna be a challenge. But it'll feel so rewarding in the end, right?! RIGHT. I'll just keep telling myself that.
Later gators.

I can't wait...
FOR SPRING BREAK. This semester has already taken a lot out of me and it's only halfway through. I stay super busy and it just seems to be snowballing. But don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It's all good in the hood because if I didn't stay busy then I would be SUPER bored. It also helps me sleep at night. Haha.
I think a week is the perfect amount of time I need to recharge my batteries and regroup myself. What are my plans for Spring Break, you ask?! Well, I'll tell ya! I'm probably also going to have to work a little at good ole Outback Steakhouse in Charleston. I guess I'm excited to see some of my old co-workers. But not really.
Hopefully, it'll just be a good time to relax, make money, and SLEEP.
Later gators.

to be stressed...or not to be stressed...?

It's hard to describe how I'm feeling right now. It's almost like I'm stressing...but for no reason. I do have a hefty workload this semester but I've made a list (like always) of what I need to get done...but it doesn't seem like that much. Haha, I must be going crazy. That has to be the answer.
On another note, I'm going home to Charleston this weekend (YAY FOR NO FRIDAY CLASSES) and I could not be more excited. I miss my family like crazy! For some reason, I've just been homesick since we moved back in this semester. Anyways, I just figured I'd blog a bit. Write more later! :D

my first blog!
Hey guys! So this is my first blog and my first post ever so I guess I'll just introduce myself. I'm from Johns Island, SC, which is right outside of Charleston. I really love living in Charleston, but a part of me wants to go out and explore something more. I'm really close to my family, I have 2 older brothers. My friends are a huge part of my life, and you'll pretty much always see me surrounded by them. Music is also very important to me, I can't get enough of it. I'm a sophomore majoring in Integrated Marketing Communication. So far, this semester is promising to be a very challenging one, but I'm sure it will be rewarding as well. Well, that's it for my first post, I'll write more later.
Bye y'all!
